This is a fine example of the first American edition of The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe. The book features 27 engravings; 26 from illustrations by Gustave Dore. and a title vignette from an illustration by Elihu Vedder.
Condition: This antique book is in fine condition with some breakage along the top portion of the spine. The inside protective page is loose. but all others are securely bound within. Corners are bumped and covers show signs of ware and handling.
