The chairs were a annoying to put together. We put them together as instructed, but the first one came out lopsided. When we redid them we made sure that the trim on the back of the chair lined up with the trim on the chair seat on both sides and then they seemed to be aligned.Once we put together the chairs looked exactly as I expected and were comfortable to sit on.
