Natural landmarks depicted in this map include Crater Lake. Multnomah Falls. Mount Hood. and the Oregon Caves. This fascinating pictorial map of Oregon was published in 1935 by Ruth Taylor. It appeared in the atlas published by Taylor and her husband Frank Taylor entitled Our U.S.A. - a Gay Geography. with the maps done by Ruth and the text by her husband. The map provides local color and flavor. depicting cultural stereotypes. agriculture. industries and activities of the state.
