My son helped me assemble the table. It is beautiful and sturdy. The end tables and coffee table that are part of Torrence line as well are lovely too.I like the stand a lot but was very disappointed in the color. This is not cherry, there is no red undertones or color at all. I almost think they sent the wrong one because the description is dark cherry.Solid wood, easy to put together, with two people would be better. I love it! It was very easy to assemble, and even though the directions suggested using two people I was able to put it together by myself with no problem. I completed it in about fifteen minutes and could not be happier with my selection.
