A highly decorative and detailed map of Vatican City by an unknown artist / publication that is infrequently finds it's way onto the market. There are currently no other examples listed on OCLC. Though the artist and publisher remain unknown. this map stands as a striking homage to Vatican City. merging cartographic precision with religious devotion.

The central portion of the map features a meticulously drawn layout of the Vatican. highlighting key landmarks such as St. Peter's Basilica. the Sistine Chapel. the Vatican Gardens. and various papal buildings. Architectural details are finely rendered. emphasizing the grandeur and significance of the Holy See. The map is framed by an elaborate border adorned with religious iconography. decorative flourishes. and ecclesiastical symbols that reinforce the Vatican's role as the heart of Catholicism.

Surrounding the central map are richly detailed religious vignettes that depict sacred spaces and key moments in Christian tradition.
